You will need to ensure once a tag is created, you must select (tick) the tag to assigned to this contact. This is to make sure the tag are applied on this contact successfully and this tag will be recognize as “Assigned Tag”. A new tag without assignee will consider as “Unassigned Tag” which will be automatically delete by the system.
